Company History

Adecco can trace its roots in the UK to Alfred Marks, the oldest recruitment agency, established in 1919. We have a network of over 300 branches and offices on clients' sites in the UK and Ireland, with 1,350 employees supplying over 30,000 temporary associates every day.

Each branch reports directly to a Regional Office, which in turn reports to the Chief Operating Officer / Operations Director. Our head office, located in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire, supports our clients, our on-site offices and our national branch network by providing services such as IT support, quality control and central administration.
